PRETTY POODLE

Hump days are an essential part of HBCU culture—from the looks, the music, the surprise celebrity pop-ups, and the greeks. HBCU students already have an immaculate drip, but hump day?? We take it up like 5 notches. 

This particular hump day, I had to give the gworls a slight flex, ya know? Nothin too too crazy, but just enough to give what was needed. 

I turned 23 in August and my mom has been encouraging me to get a pair of Jordans ever since. It took a minute, but I finally found a pair of Jordans that spoke to me and made me want to step into my sneakerhead era again: The Denim Jordan 1s. 

BOOM! I busted out my Pretty Poodle Zip-Up set to be cute and comfortable while I stroll. The denim and the rhoyal blue x gold combo were a *chef’s kiss*. 

To top it all off, I wore my “goldilocks” wig that I got from Amazon. It’s a legendary member of my fan-favorite wig club, right next to my mullet and Latisha. 

I am proud to say that this look was stroll-proof. I had a BLAST and my wig did not fall off—s/o to my wig band and my bobby pins.
