I love me some me. This look is dedicated to all of my favorite things and the stuff that makes me who I am.

Gwen found me this jacket while we were shopping at Pavement in Montrose and it felt like fate; The jacket coincidentally was my favorite color and it had my initials on it, so I bought it on site. I’ve been into this preppy private school aesthetic lately, so I decided to pair the shirt and jacket with this thrifted plaid skirt I found at Texas Thrift. There’s a hint of burgundy in it, which matches the color of my jacket. I love how the lining of my jacket meshes well with the plaid and pushes the school daze aesthetic I had in mind. I added some pins that express my pride towards my blackness, like the “blackety black” pin.
