My mom’s job has a new year party tradition and I’ve never been able to go because I wasn’t old enough—This year, I was finally able to go celebrate the new year with my mom and her co-workers. The theme was masquerade and my mom created both of our masks-- she's truly a creative icon. I enjoyed exchanging different concepts with her; it's always nice to see my mom in her fashion element. We ended up serving some sparkle and both looks were a total hit!

The music. The food. The fact that my wig survived while I danced-- you really can't get a better party outcome than that. I had a fun time and her co-workers are always kind.

I struggled a bit in my disco heels, but I turned up regardless. When the next one happens, my ankles will be revived and prepared.
