I ordered this jumpsuit and the shoes from Forever 21. I love matching sets or anything that coincidentally matches perfectly, so I was thrilled to discover that the shoes + suit matched perfectly!

I've always wanted to have an editorial photo shoot in a beauty supply. I feel like local beauty supplies are a sanctuary for black women; It's so hard to find products for our hair anywhere else. Stores like Sally's, Walmart, or any local drug store usually cater to hair types without kinks or curls. If there are products for black people, they're high dollar and extremely scarce. Beauty supplies that cater more to black hair have become a space for me to feel free (enough to take my wig off in front of strangers) and expand my creativity. Although the photo shoot was slightly impromptu and being at the beauty supply was coincidental, I finally got to live out the creative concept in my head. I hope you enjoy!
