If you know me, you know that I love watching “Check it out! With Dr. Steve Brule” on Adult Swim—Steve Brule never fails to crack me up. My mom got me a button and a shirt in honor of the show, specifically from our favorite episode. I don’t want to get too deep into show talk, but I recommend watching it—it is super weird, gross, and stupid, but it’s overall hilarious.

My goal was to look like a TV glitch and incorporate my show memorabilia too. This thrifted blazer and my checkered skirt created the TV-inspired illusion. I wore a dark blue wig that coordinated with the blue in my jacket to balance out the color palette—I didn’t want to overload since I had two eye-catching, similar patterns. I’m so proud of how both patterns complimented each other well. The silver boots were simply just a sprinkle of fun; I don’t get the opportunity to wear heels as often as I’d like to because of the Tiger Walk, but these were perfect.
