NOTE TO SELF

2019 and beyond is strictly for self-love and what’s a better time to declare that love than the beginning of the new year! The break gave me a lot of time to refocus on myself, so I wanted to bring that same energy to my looks for the first week back.

The amount of self-love in this outfit is LOUD; I wanted the look to encompass every aspect of me. One key part of Janaya is color—I can’t function throughout the day without having a pop of color or multiple colors in an outfit. I got a custom graffiti shirt with my name on it for Christmas and paired it up with a blue faux leather jacket and a “self-love club” pin to tie everything together.
