Whenever I’m in a good mood, I describe whatever type of good I’m in by using the trinity of modern mainstream queens: Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, and Beyoncé.

Nicki comes out during functions when I’m at the peak of my hypeness.

Rihanna is when I’m feeling happily unapologetic, edgy, liberated, and like a baddie.

Beyoncé is when I’m feeling bossy, fierce, powerful, ambitious, and assertive.

Monday was DEFINITELY a full-fledged Beyoncé day.

I ran a ton of errands too, so that truly brought out the Miss Carter within.

Yes, Monday was filled with Bey, but this look wasn’t inspired by her.

I always create looks and end up sticking a theme to them after the fact and my particular “theme” was the TV show, Grownish (Y’all should check it out). I felt like I looked like I belonged in Zoey’s college posse. It kind of reminds me of one of her looks on the show too.

I wore a couple Christmas presents like my pins and turban...also, a couple regretful splurges (I still love them nonetheless!)
