My second day of classes was very...interesting. I had a lot of “scared straight” experiences while my professors thoroughly explained the syllabus. Nonetheless, I feel supa dupa good about my classes and my spirit ain’t too shook.

The TRUE purpose for this post is for y’all to get into this look!!

While I was putting this outfit together, it slowly reminded me of circa 1980's Molly Ringwald (especially in the movie Pretty in Pink).

The glasses. The decorative accessories. The vest. The midi skirt. The playful socks. The one dangly earring (although you can’t see it under my big hair).

I BODIED THIS ENTIRE CONCEPT!

I ended up coining my look as the ethnic edition of The Breakfast Club or any teenage angst filled film with Molly Ringwald as a pivitol character.

I really look like I could be in detention, pouring out my soul to strange individuals that’d I’d never even consider being friends with during school.
