Happy Valentine’s Day, y’all! I’m taking this V-day to celebrate myself—naturally, I got myself a gift and surprised myself this morning. I didn’t have a Valentine’s day look, so I decided to wear something I’ve already worn. I’ve worn this ASOS set two times prior to this and haven’t been able to take good photos.

I’ve styled it the same way each time, but with a different hairstyle. The first time was with a red afro wig and it was when I went to see Chloe x Halle at the House of Blues. Halle complimented my hair and I got hella compliments on this set. Yes, I spent some refund coin on the set and the concert. I have no regrets though.

The second time was at Freshman Rock The House rehearsals and I took photos in the balcony area of the auditorium. The concept was good and my photographer of the day had ambition, but the lighting was tragic.

Today, I finally did that. We did this shoot around sunset and the lighting surprisingly didn’t fail me. The pink wig was a success and it looked nice with the colors of the 2-piece set. I enjoy wearing my Statue of Liberty socks with my apple purse to make the New York connection. Wearing my grill always brings me joy. I feel chill as hell every time I wear this set.
