I CAN’T STAND THE RAIN

It's the first day back from winter break and I served “gone with the wind fabulous” for my return. The forecast said that there’d be rain, so naturally I busted out the raincoat.

She [the weather] was windy.

She was gloomy.

She wasn’t rainy though.

My wig survived with a single bobby pin, which is noticeable considering my overly exposed forehead.

Luckily, the rain didn’t start until I got back to my dorm—that nap really hit, y’all.

Aside from the gloomy weather, I am feeling very optimistic about the new school year. Winter break was (and always will be) needed for me to reboot. Now, I refuse to let anything rain on my parade. Not a person. Not the weather. Not me. My heart and mind are in a very good place (rightfully so). I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Spring 2019.
